Putrajaya introduces towing and clamping zones to deter illegal parking


Roads in Putrajaya to be designated as towing and clamping zones on April 1 to deter illegal parking.

PUTRAJAYA Corporation(PPj) has designated 45 roads in nine of its precincts as towing and clamping zones effective April 1.

Although the local authority carried out towing operations in Precincts 1 to 4, clamping was added to its Enforcement Division’s range of methods to deter illegal parking in the city. Other precincts to be included are 5, 7, 9, 15 and 16.
