JOHOR BARU: The number of mentally ill patients at Hospital Permai here has gone down over the past five years.
Hospital Permai Clinical deputy director Dr Norsham Ismail attributed this to the Community Psychiatry Programme which encourages those with mental conditions to live in their own homes and community while on medication.
