KOTA KINABALU: There is an urgent need for industries and the Government to focus on marine science and aquaculture development with increasing demand and rapid growth in the sector.

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau said Malaysia’s marine ecosystem was generating billions of ringgit in revenue and it was vital that the Government ensure the sustainability of the industry.
