PLACES of worship nationwide have been urged to take up an active role in creating awareness about drug abuse to school-children and youths.

Malaysian Drug Prevention Association (Pemadam) deputy president Datuk Mohd Suhaimi Abdullah said the number of youths and students in primary, secondary and institutions of higher learning, who are involved in drugs, is alarming.
