Bakun dam’s acquisition is to consolidate Sarawak’s energy resources and give the state full control of energy for the benefit of the people.
KUCHING: Sarawak’s acquisition of the Bakun hydroelectric plant (HEP) from the Federal Government will benefit the people and the state economy, said state Barisan Nasional Youth chief Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
He said this would not only give the state government full control over energy but enabled greater development for the state.
