Cabbies want fare raise

JOHOR BARU: Taxi drivers ferrying passengers to Singapore are hoping the government will allow them to increase the fare from RM20 to RM30 per passenger.

The Johor Baru-Singapore Taxi Terminal had wanted to impose the new fare per passenger starting from March 1 but did not get approval from the Land Public Transport Authority (SPAD).
