Designs at fashion show put the spotlight on fabrics made by traditional weavers in Indonesia and Cambodia

The Maybank Women Eco-Weavers programme creates economic independence for the women and a sustainable textile production.

ASIAN Tour golfers Arie Irawan, Aung Ye Htet, Carlos Pigem and Koh Shan Deng took a break from competing in the Maybank Championship 2017 to model clothing made from traditional fabrics.

The fashion show highlighted fabrics created by traditional weavers from Maybank Foundation’s Maybank Women Eco-Weavers programme in Indonesia and Cambodia.
