Programme to minimise usage of water in schools pays off

JOHOR BARU: The Water Education programme organised by Syarikat Air Johor Holdings Sdn Bhd has seen a 17% increase in the effectiveness of water saving practices among the secondary schools in the state.

SAJ Holdings chief executive officer Abdul Wahab Abdul Hamid said a total of 24 schools had participated in the programme last year, with 3,000 students involved throughout the programme period which was ongoing for the whole year.
