Miri’s oldest colonial buiding to become history museum

MIRI: The state cabinet has given approval for the Miri Resident Office – the oldest colonial building in Miri built during the Brooke rajah era in the late 1800s – to be gazetted as a heritage building.

The building will be converted into a history museum with its original design and structure retained, said Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg.
