Help ease traffic to Thean Hou temple, urge residents

The road leading to the Thean Hou temple in Kuala Lumpur on the first day of Chinese New Year was badly congested that it took some motorists an hour to pass through the 200m stretch on Jalan Robson, Persiaran Endah and Jalan Permai.

RESIDENTS in Robson Heights, Kuala Lumpur want the authorities to step in and manage traffic leading to the Thean Hou temple on Feb 11.

Following the gridlock that lasted from noon until evening on the first and second day of Chinese New Year, when it took close to one hour just to pass through the 200m stretch on Jalan Robson, Persiaran Endah and Jalan Permai, the residents foresee another round of heavy traffic congestion during the Chap Goh Meh celebration.
