Abandoned carpark filled with water again

The basement of the abandoned four-storey carpark in Kota Kemuning once again houses a pool of stagnant rainwater. — RAYMOND OOI/The Star

IT has been seven months since the 0.6m pool of stagnant water at an abandoned carpark in Kota Kemuning was drained but today, the condition is back to square one.

The four-storey carpark along Jalan Anggerik Vanilla AD 31/AD has poor drainage system and coupled with the irresponsible dumping of rubbish, the basement quickly fills up with water after weeks of heavy rain, making it a possible breeding ground for Aedes mosquitoes.
