State to restrict issuance of licence for simulator machines


PENANG will stop issuing or renewing licences for ‘simulator machines’ or ‘games of chance’ outside shopping malls, supermarkets and hotels next year.

Penang Local Government, Traffic Management and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow said this was an effort to curb rising social ills and dumping of such machines.
