Council relocates eight raintrees to Taiping Lake Gardens

A Samanea saman raintree along Jalan Kamunting-Batu Kurau before it was uprooted and relocated to the Taiping Lake Gardens.

THE Taiping Municipal Council has uprooted and relocated eight Samanea saman raintrees to the Taiping Lake Gardens.

Council president Datuk Abd Rahim Md Ariff said the “tree transplanting” activity, held earlier this year, was to allow the trees to have better growth space.
