THE ANNUAL Lantern and Flora Festival at the Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple in Jenjarom, Banting, launched a few days before Chinese New Year, is expected to attract one million local and foreign tourists.

The colourful lights, lanterns and flowers have been the monastery’s main attraction since 2004, and is one of the highlights on the Tourism and Culture Ministry’s list of major events during the festival.
