Association wants road weight limit changed

SIBU: United Chinese Association Sibu wants the Public Works Department and Road Transport Department (JPJ) to lift the ban on lorry trailers that weigh over 38 tons on state roads.

Its president Kong Hain Khin said they had long been pursuing the matter with the two departments but was turned down each time.
