Sarawak may get exemption for road charges

MIRI: Foreign vehicles from Brunei and Kalimantan entering Sarawak will not need to pay the RM20 vehicle entry permit (VEP) charges – for now at least.

The Government has decided to temporarily exempt Sarawak from the VEP requirements following an appeal from Sarawak Assistant Tourism Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin.
