THE Guang Ming Property Fair 2017 will see some big names in property development showcasing their projects at the main atrium of Gurney Paragon Mall in Penang.

Among them are Ewein Zenith Group, Mah Sing Group Berhad, IJM Land, Hunza Properties Bhd, Trinity Group and Zeon Properties.

Other exhibitiors are VST Group, Emerald Capital Group, Aroma Development Sdn Bhd, Iconic Land Sdn Bhd and Devoteshens Sdn Bhd.

Organised by Guang Ming Ribao Sdn Bhd and Zeon Properties, the seven-day fair is organised in conjunction with the newspaper’s 30th anniversary.

It will be held from Monday till Sunday from 10am to 10pm daily.

Zeon Properties Group CEO Leon Lee said the event would take on a carnival-like atmosphere.

He said that besides the usual attractive offerings in real estate and talks on property-related issues, there would be live acoustic band performances as well as fashion and hairstyling shows.

Other activities include a magic clown show, balloon giveaway, face painting and mascot appearances.

“We want to make the fair as lively as possible for those who turn up,” he said in an interview.

Lee said the opening ceremony would be held at 5pm on Tuesday and the fair’s ambassador-cum- celebrity Yumi Wong would make an appearance.

He said the event would also see prizes worth RM200,000 up for grabs in the Spin-N-Win lucky draw and visitors just need to give their names, email addresses and contact numbers to be eligible for the draw.

“There will be two sessions for the draw each day from 1pm to 2pm and 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

“A sound system with built-in amplifier and speakers worth RM750 is among the prizes to be given out daily.

“Visitors will not return home empty-handed as they will get vouchers or at least a packet of instant noodles or instant coffee,” Lee said.

He is also one of the 14 speakers who will deliver talks during the fair. They will share their views on a variety of interesting topics including feng shui, finance, social media, public auction, property trend and investment.

Other speakers include Real Estate & Housing Developers’ Association (Penang) chairman Datuk Toh Chin Leong, Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences president Prof Joe Choo and lawyer Khaw Veon Szu.

Two speakers will share their thoughts with visitors each day with the sessions slated at 2pm and 4pm.

Lee said the Best Event Photography Competition and Kuang Yee Lucky Draw would also be held.
