Study to identify causes of vehicles catching fire

MALACCA: Malacca Fire and Rescue Department is keen to find out the actual cause 163 vehicles had burst into flames throughout 2016, mostly occurring along the North-South expressway.

Department director Nazili Mahmood said they have engaged a local university to do a comprehensive study to determine why many vehicles, especially cars, caught fire suddenly.
