ROOSTER-THEMED decorations may be all the rage in stores but nothing brings a housewife and her son more satisfaction than to craft one from scratch.

And to add icing on the cake, their creation won first prize in the Auspicious Rooster Craft Competition at Straits Quay in Penang recently.
