Pair of newly-born Oriental-pied Hornbills spotted


One of the hornbill chicks spotted in the nesting cavity marked House 58 at the Piasau Nature Reserve.

KUCHING: Two new Oriental-pied Hornbill offspring have been spotted at the Piasau Nature Reserves (PNR) in Miri, bringing its total population to 24.

Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) said the two new additions belong to the park’s famous Oriental-pied Hornbill couple, Jimmy and Juliet.
