MALACCA: A Portuguese has been appointed councillor in the Malacca Historic City Council (MBMB) – a first for the community.
Joseph Sta Maria who is a representative of minority ethnic communities under the state Barisan Nasional’s social service unit (Pembela), received his appointment letter from Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron during a ceremony at Seri Negeri on Monday.
