Department to come up with service schedule for stakeholders

Paramaswary says restaurateurs are supportive of MPK

KLANG Municipal Council’s (MPK) Environmental Services Department will draw up a collection schedule to ensure the process is hassle-free for stakeholders involved in the recycling of used cooking oil (UCO).

MPK Corporate Communications director Norfiza Mahfiz said a flexi schedule had to be adopted in the initial stages, whether weekly, bi-monthly or once every three-weeks, to help restaurants and places of worship meet requirements in the recycling of UCO.
