ALOR GAJAH: The number of tourist arrivals to Malacca rose by 4.3% to 12.74 million from January to October 2016 compared to the corresponding period the previous year.
Deputy state exco for Tourism and River, Beach and Island Development Datuk Ghazale Muhamad said of the total, 8.48 million were domestic tourists and the rest foreigners.
