Police cripple car theft syndicate and recover 14 vehicles

JOHOR BARU: Police have crippled a major car theft syndicate known as Geng Mat Top with the arrest of eight men including its leader and recovered 14 stolen cars worth RM187,000.

Johor Baru South Asst Comm Sulaiman Salleh said a special taskforce was set up in Dec 16 last year to investigate.
