Snake infestation raises fears in Ampang neighbourhood

Garden and bulk waste add to the dense undergrowth on the Sungai Kerayong riverbank that has not been cleared for years, making it a perfect habitat for snakes.

RESIDENTS in Taman Maju Jaya, Ampang, are living in fear as the neighbourhood is infested with snakes.

They say the undergrowth in the neighbouring Sungai Kerayong riverbank has not been cleared in years. As such, the area has become a breeding ground for snakes and other reptiles.
