2,000 attend Christmas service in Kuching

Politicians and government officers are among 2,000 who attended the service.

KUCHING: About 2,000 Christians attended the joint Christmas service by the Association of Churches in Sarawak (ACS) at its Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre.

Held annually, the programme was organised on a rotational basis by ACS members comprising Roman Catholic Church, Anglican Church, Methodist Church and Methodist Church SIAC (Sarawak Iban Annual Conference), Seventh-Day Adventist Church, The Salvation Army, Borneo Evangelical Church (SIB) and Sarawak Baptist Church.
