YULETIDE has always been a special season for bank manager Joy Samson whose birthday falls on Christmas Day.

Her late mother, Baby Mary, excited to welcome the bundle of joy who arrived at 1.30pm 56 years ago, started calling her ‘Joy’ and the name remained.
