The 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the Sultan of Terengganu, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, is the first Sultan to showcase his personal collection at the Royal Museum in Kuala Lumpur.

During the soft launch of the Selected Collection exhibition, the Department of Museum Malaysia director-general Datuk Kamarul Baharin A. Kasim said the purpose of hosting this exhibition was to give the public insight into the background and life of Sultan Mizan and at the same time, highlight the importance of monarchy in our country.
