KUCHING: The state government needs to set a policy to further aid development of Chinese-medium schools, which have been successful in sowing the seed for racial unity.
Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian said Chinese vernacular schools, with their multiracial enrolment, had been providing fundamental education to the children in promoting racial tolerance.
