Pilot project for green economy in Kapit and Sri Aman

KUCHING: The state Forest Department is working with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to develop a pilot transboundary green economy programme in Sarawak under the Heart of Borneo (HoB) initiative.

The programme will be located in Kapit and Sri Aman divisions, which have orang utan habitats and are also important to Sarawak’s economy with large production forests and oil palm plantations.
