Upgrading works on the four-legged overhead pedestrian bridge known as the ‘octopus’ bridge near Komtar is expected to be completed in March next year.

Penang Local Government, Traffic Management and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow said the delay in the completion of the upgrading works was due to issues in transferring the utility cables.
