Despite lack of preparation, students win national-level debate competition

WHEN 21-year-old Hoe Chean Yee and her five teammates were getting ready for the Northern Malaysia Mandarin Debate Tournament 2016, they were only able to prepare for the preliminary round due to their busy schedules.

Little did the team from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College know that they would emerge champions in the national-level event.
