Villagers want chemical plant in Kampung Baru Bukit Merah moved


LIM Pek Har (DAP-Menglembu) has renewed her call for the state government to consider moving the chemical plant responsible for the chlorine gas leak in Kampung Baru Bukit Merah in mid-September.

Reiterating the seriousness of the hazardous incident, Lim said people living around the village have been detecting chemical odours in the air over the last two years.
