A BACKBENCHER stunned the august House when he proposed that foreigners be allowed to only purchase prewar houses that are each priced at RM200mil and above in the heritage zone here.
Teh Lai Heng (DAP-Komtar) (pic) said the proposal would surely deter foreigners from purchasing such houses by blocks in theheritage site.
