THE Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) has confirmed that there are more than 50 factories operating along Sungai Semenyih following a recent check.
Local Government, New Village Development and State Legalising of Factories Committee chairman Ean Yong Hian Wah told StarMetro that the tally on the number of factories operating along the river had increased to 58 compared to 35 previously.
