MIRI: Electricity provider Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) has formed its own ground patrol squads to handle the dual mission of reducing power cable thefts and detect power supply flaws to enable remedial measures to be implemented swiftly without delays.

This measure will largely help in minimising or at least reducing power outages in residential estates, commercial centres and industrial zones, SEB’s senior management disclosed yesterday during a dialogue with the councillors in the Miri City Council.
