Schools rewarded for collection of recyclables

Children from preschools as well as primary and secondary schools in Shah Alam have collectively gathered 1.07 million kilogrammes of recyclables through the Kempen Kitar Semula by F&N and MBSA since its launch in 2007.

THIRTY-SIX schools in Shah Alam have successfully raised 121,321.20kg recyclable waste under a campaign organised by Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&N HB) and the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).

The inter-school recycling campaign, now in its 10th year, required schools to collect the largest haul of recyclables to win RM24,900 cash prize.
