THE DOMESTIC Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry should consider looking into the rising prices of bottled cooking oil after the government abolished the subsidy for the necessity, says State Consumer Affairs Committee Chairman Datuk Samsudin Abu Hassan.

Samsudin said people have been complaining that they now have to pay RM21 for a 5kg bottled cooking oil compared with RM13 before the subsidy was removed.
