KOTA KINABALU: Some 1,000 students, teachers and non-teaching staff of SM St Michael in Penampang came together to churn out 11,351 bookmarks from recycled materials within five hours.

Besides doing their bit for the environment, their effort earned the school a place in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) for the largest mass production of bookmarks from recycled materials.
