Chance to see old bank notes and coins at exhibition

SIBU: Most Malaysians, especially those who are 40 years old and below did not have the opportunity to look at old bank notes, some dating back to 1967.

Sarawak Philatelic and Numismatic Society president John Goh Cheong Huat said he noticed that many visitors at the society’s sale and exhibition of old coins, bank notes and stamps were surprised because they were unaware of the existence of such Malaysian bank notes.
