Assemblyman claims exorbitant offer for Splash is suspicious

AN ASSEMBLYMAN has called for a public hearing on the discrepancies over the acquisition of Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor Holdings Bhd (Splash).

Datuk Shamsudin Lias (BN-Sungai Burong) said the hearing should clear the air over the questions and confusions stemmed from the huge value of RM2.975bil to take over the water concessionaire, which is over 10 times higher than the proposed RM250.6mil.
