MIRI: Foreign vehicles entering Sarawak from Brunei should not be compelled to pay entry charges as this will scare visitors away from Miri and cripple the city’s economy.

Miri City Council strongly opposed the Federal Government’s move to impose such charges at Sungai Tujuh checkpoint along the Miri-Brunei boundary, said Miri mayor Adam Yii.
