In addition to the launch of the urban orchard, residents had a chance to get some basic health checks done, courtesy of the councils Health Department.
SECTION One residents and those living in other parts of Petaling Jaya Old Town now have an urban orchard in their midst following the official launch of the PJ Railway Park by Petaling Jaya mayor Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain.
Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) Landscaping Department director Zuraidah Sainan said the park had been planted with various fruit trees, ranging from kedondong to ciku and lime, besides vegetable plots.
