THE Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd (PBAPP) has clarified that the overflow of water from the Air Itam Dam on Saturday had nothing to do with the flash floods.
Its chief executive officer Datuk Jaseni Maidinsa said 135mm of rainfall was recorded at the dam resulting in a minimal overflow of 12mm of water at about 7.10pm.
