Police: Don’t be afraid, we can help

The dilapidated condition of Waller Court is the least of the concerns of the residents who fear for their safety every day. — T. AVINESHWARAN/ The Star

THE residents of Waller Court have been told to come out and lodge reports with the police if they fall victim to a crime.

Many residents of the low-cost flats have said that they fear being harassed by gangsters or burglars if they lodge a police report, but State Deputy Police Chief Deputy Comm Datuk Hasnan Hassan says the residents can just call the police hotline at 05-2401 999 if they are afraid to lodge a report at a police station.
