Hazmat drills on hazardous waste spill

KUCHING: A simulated road accident and chemical waste spill formed part of an emergency drill conducted by Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd with the Fire and Rescue Department.

The exercise, which also included observers from police, Department of Environment and Occupational Safety and Health Department, was meant to give participants first-hand experience on how to communicate properly and play their roles when responding to such an emergency.
