ONE of the busiest streets in inner George Town — China Street Ghaut — is going to receive a major facelift in its road design so that activities can be held along the 200m stretch.
The facelift under the China Street Ghaut Streetscape Upgrade Project helmed by the George Town Conservation and Develop-ment Corporation (GTCDC) will have wider and shaded footpaths, seating facilities creating a jovial environment and better parking space arrangements for vehicles.
