KUCHING: Any plans to develop more hydropower dams in Sarawak in the future will depend on energy demand, said Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) group chief executive Datuk Torstein Dale Sjotveit.

He said studies had been completed on the potential of 11 or 12 dams in the state, with SEB currently focusing on the 1,285MW Baleh dam.
