DEVELOPER Ewein Zenith Sdn Bhd will be the main sponsor for The Star’s FitForLife Fun Run for the second year.

The consortium is sponsoring RM30,000 for the event, which is in line with its belief incultivating wellness in one’slifestyle.

Group managing director Datuk S.K. Ewe said it was great to collaborate with The Star again as it was in line with its project, Wellness City of Dreams in Bandar Tanjung Pinang.

“It is a part of our culture to promote health and wellness and this fun run is very much in line with our concept,” he said, adding that he was looking forward to continuing this relationship with The Star in the coming years.

The project in Bandar Tanjung Pinang consists of luxury residences, resorts, commercial hubs and retail outlets with facilities catering to healthcare, recuperation, retirement homes and alternative medical care.

Ewe was speaking after handing over a mock cheque to Star Media Group regional operations general manager (north) Simone Liong at Menara Boustead in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah in George Town, Penang, on Thursday.

Also present were Zeon Properties founder and chief executive officer Leon Lee and Star Media Group executive (events and promotion) Janice Tan.

The 9.5km fun run will be flagged off at SPICE Arena in Relau at 7.30am on Oct 16.
