THE Klang District Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) has been urged to “stop dragging its feet” on the submission of plans for a proposed sluice gate at Sungai Teluk Gadong Besar that will help alleviate flash floods in 10 neighbourhoods.
Klang Municipal Council (MPK) councillor Tony Leong said the new sluice gate will be built next to the current Gate 44, Sungai Teluk Gadong Besar pump house and sluice gate.
